June 17. 2009 - The "Senior Media Specialist Anti-desertification Alliance" launched their alliance at a conference held in Beijing. Twenty three senior media specialists, the Inner Mongolia Grassland and Sand Industry Association, and related government officials attended the event. As a member of the Inner Mongolia Grassland and Sand Industry Association, Yongye expects to continue making more contributions to environmental protection and ecological improvement efforts.

April 21. 2009 - As the director of "Alxa See Society Entrepreneur Ecology", Mr. Wu Zishen attended the Third SEE¡¤TNC Ecological Awarding Ceremony" and was invited as an award winning guest. The SEE¡¤TNC Ecological Award was commenced in 2005. The award ceremony is held every two years and is the first environmental award organized and sponsored by domestic private entrepreneurs.

April 10. 2009 - The fourth stop on the "Yongye Public Welfare Campaign" tour was held at the Yongye Biotechnology Facility Campus in Hohhot. The ceremony commemorated Yongye's donation of Shengmingsu products valued at RMB 1,000,000 to the Hetao area which is one of the largest agriculture product planting regions in China. It is well known as "China's Barn" .

January 18. 2009 - On the eve of the Lunar New Year, Yongye Vice President Mr. Gao Jianzhong visited Hohhot's social welfare hospital. The hospital accommodates over 200 of Hohhot's senior citizens. Mr. Gao made a donation valued at RMB 20,000 on behalf of Yongye and brought Chinese New Year greetings to the hospital's patients and staff.

December 23. 2008 - Inner Mongolia's "100 Schools and 10,000 Teachers & Students' ¡®Five Love' social Education Campaign" was officially launched in Hohhot's Xinhua primary school. The Campaign was exclusively sponsored by Yongye and initiated by the Inner Mongolia Science Union, the Inner Mongolia Youth Development Foundation, the Inner Mongolia Culture and Arts Research Institute, and several other NGOs.

July 8. 2008 - The third stop of the "Yongye Public Welfare Campaign" was carried out in Inner Mongolia's Xing'an county. Yongye made a donation of Shengmingsu plant product valued at RMB one million to support local farmers. Local government officials and various journalists attended the donation ceremony.

May 14. 2008 - Chen Xiaohong of Yongye's accounting department and Mr. Wu Zishen initiated an internal donation campaign for all Yongye employees to support the relief and reconstruction efforts for the earthquake affected areas of Sichuan province. This reflected the humanitarian spirit and culture of Yongye.

May 13. 2008 - As part of the "Entrepreneur disaster relief campaign", which was initiated by the Chinese Entrepreneur Forum and the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation, Mr. Wu Zishen made an RMB 100,000 donation to the Sichuan area earthquake relief fund to help with the post-earthquake rebuilding projects.

May 8. 2008 - Yongye donated multi-media equipment valued at RMB 100,000 to a primary school located in the Hohhot area and also donated Shengmingsu plant product valued at RMB 100,000 to Hohhot Qingshuihe county farmers. These were follow on events of the "Yongye Public Welfare Campaign" which began in November 2007 in Wuwei City. Members of the Hohhot municipal committee Mr. Li He, Vice Mayor Ms. Liu Juru and Mr. Bai Jinxiang attended the donation ceremony.

November 9. 2007 - The "Yongye Public Welfare Campaign for Wuwei" donation ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Through this campaign, Yongye has made a donation of Shengmingsu plant product valued at one million RMB to Wuwei city. This was the first city to receive a donation through the "Yongye Public Welfare Campaign." Wuwei is located in a semi-arid area of Gansu Province. The company hoped the donated Shengmingsu plant product would help local farmers generate an additional income of over ten million RMB. Under the company's principal of "serving agriculture, rural areas, and farmers", and in conjunction with the donation, Yongye also provided free follow-on technical guidance and support services for the use of the product in the area. |
